Great experience in this fine restaurant. They are using local ingredients to create their recipes. We arrived and were greeted by the friendly staff and the chef. Cocktails are really good! The food is good, but I wouldn't call it "experimental cuisine," as they suggest it. What we had was really food but nothing different than another restaurant in Europe. I thought they were going to do a Mexican touch on the local recipes, but it wasn't that. I think it's a bit on the higher price for what you get but we had a great experience eating there. Just expect fine food with locally sourced ingredients and great service.

Agua de Mar Restaurante & Wine Bar:) what a happy accident! Everything we tried was fabulous with many vegetarian friendly options. The tomato and beet salad, shrimp sausage, fish, gnocchi and even the bread were all delicious - so good we hope to back before we leave Merida!! Most everything here is locally sourced! Thank you for your patience describing all of the dishes and the tunes upon request!!

First of all, this restaurant's attention to detail, integrity, and artistry is like none other. It is one of my top three restaurants in Merida. Adrian is our server every single time, consistently providing exceptional service. Whenever I am in Merida, this is on the list. I appreciate places that take food seriously and understand the importance of true hospitality. I highly recommend trying out Agua de Mar.

What a dinner! I had a great experience, as I finally found something original (and outside the standard offer you can find in the city). The food was great, stuff was super friendly and the atmosphere (with the vinly in the background) was great as well! If you are NOT looking for the usual stuff (for tourists and traditional cousine)... well this is the place where you can have a great time for you and your palate. Well done Agua de Mar Restaurante & Wine Bar !!

Super cozy resto with local food . The fcstcb of the day it’s a must .i also enjoyed the shrimps roca. For dessert the torta vasca with coco was delicious .

Excellent in every way - you can tell this place is a labour of love. The food is thoughtful, beautiful & delicious. Also great cocktails and there is a wine bar in the front of the restaurant. Loved the vibe.
